While leading an active lifestyle is important to me, my family, friends, and the demands of everyday life come first.  I founded RPMcoaching to help other athletes achieve their goals and hit new PRs while enjoying a balanced, active lifestyle.

Jon Ryder grew up near Cleveland, OH.   He began competing in swim meets around the age of seven and continued through the end of high school where he raced in the State finals.  He was also an avid mountain biker, skier, and snowboarder.

Fast forward 10 years: Jon began to get back into swimming and started to run 5 and 10k races.  He began racing triathlon in 2010.  From that time Jon not only lost his college "freshman 60", but trained his way to being twice named USAT All-American.  His goals for 2015 are to compete at the USAT Age Group Nationals (a race that he has qualified for several times, but been unable to attend) to complete his first 70.3.

Jon is a USA Cycling and USA Triathlon certified coach.  He now resides in Takoma Park, MD with is wife, Katie, and two year old son, Tim.
